TAKE ACTION

Join me in calling on Attorney General Eric Schmitt to look into the truth of Jonathan's case by writing and calling his office.

WRITE

Sample Letter/email:

Dear Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, my name is __________.

This letter is in regards to Jonathan Irons who is currently imprisoned at the Jefferson City Correctional Center and has been wrongfully incarcerated since the age of 16 for over 22 years. On Oct 9th he was finally granted a chance to have the evidence of his innocence heard in court. The evidence is overwhelming, heartbreaking and clear. I have followed the news and learned of your Assistant Attorney General Patrick J. Logan fight against unreliable eye witness practices and multiple Brady violations that directly led to Jonathan’s wrongful conviction.

There is no DNA evidence, fingerprints, physical evidence, or footprint evidence to link Jonathan to the crime and this requires that you personally look into the truth of this case that has come to garner national attention.

I am hopeful that we can count on your leadership to restore our faith in the public officials who are elected to oversee justice. I ask that you remove any further obstructions and do the morally and legally right thing by allowing Jonathan to go home. Thousands of voices are demanding justice and watching as each phase of Jonathan’s fight for freedom unfolds and I will be personally paying close attention to how you address this case.

Sincerely,
(Name)
